My work explores the layers that echo the lasting effects of men’s and women’s work, play and occupation on themselves and on their surroundings.

For me the textures and marks left by such reverberating echoes result in fascinating surfaces and though the original causes and meanings are lost they provide an absorbing interest and challenge.

My working processes are somewhat spontaneous and as they are centred on printmaking they often lead to the addition of other techniques and media that give me a broad language of expression.
