Gus Harrison

My recent work is in drawing and monochrome, somewhat influenced by Ivon Hitchens exhibition at the Towner.

Previously my work derived from life studies. Using a rough textured paper I keep large hake brushes copiously supplied with watercolour, one image superimposed over the next. The resulting works vary from groups of figures to wild landscapes.
