Harriet Davies

Photography and Painting

Harriet was born in Kent in 1978. Her interest in Fine Art and photography began at school and was highlighted at Kent Institute of Art and Design.

After three years of broadening her knowledge for the Arts, she moved to the South Coast and continued her development. It was here she found her strengths in combining composition, collage and paint to her photographs.

"Composition has always played an important part in my work; I experiment with placing images together to form a new dimension, adding texture and depth into the surface"

Harriet's work involves illustrating the landscape in its current form and incorporating the human settlement.
