Lou Johns

Working in bronze, stone, resin and plaster, Lou seeks to express the strength yet fragility of the human form. In the 'Triform' series, the changing interaction of the three pieces and the dynamics within and around it are explored.

Whether centimetres or metres high, a feeling of monumentality, vitality and soul is sought. Much of the larger work can be enjoyed in gardens or open spaces.

After many years of teaching others, Lou is now concentrating on work of her own. If you would like to visit her studio, feel free to call to make an appointment.
